| Meet Farmer Jim |
 |
| Jim Hatcher is the "main" milk man and head of the herd. He has been farm manager since since 1992 In addition to farm management he has extensive experience and knowledge in soil conservation and pasture management. A typical day for Farmer Jim begins at 4:30 am with a cup of coffee and a quick "log in" on the computer before heading out to gather the girls for the am milking. After barn clean up a typical spring day might include equipement maintenance, corn planting, pasture rotation, fencing, bush hogging or even milk deliveries. After a full day of farm work its back to gather the girls once more for the evening milking then on to a well deserved dinner and early to bed by 8 pm. No tossing and turning required, just dreams of a few spare hours to hit the golf couse. |

- Please leave your pets at home- we have plenty to share.
Tips for a great experience:
- Keep in mind we are a working farm –clean port-a-potty's, uneven terrain, mud puddles, bugs, changing weather, unique odors, etc. are part of the experience!
- Comfortable walking shoes are a must! Tennis shoes are a good choice-flip flops are not.
- For the enjoyment and safety of everyone, parents please keep your chidren in your sight and supervised at all times.
- Be prepared for the weather.
- Strollers are welcomed (baby jogger's are even better on the rough terrain).
- Don't forget to bring a cooler. You will want to take home some fresh Hatcher milk!
