About Our Practices
-
We milk three breeds of dairy cattle — Holstein, Brown Swiss, and Jersey — each chosen for the quality and richness they bring to our milk.
-
Our cows graze on pasture 365 days a year. Through rotational grazing practices, we ensure they are always eating fresh, nutrient-rich grass. Healthy cows on quality pasture produce exceptional milk — and you can taste the difference.
-
Our Whole Milk is non-homogenized, allowing the cream to naturally rise to the top. Milk naturally separates, and we believe whole milk should remain in its most natural state. Just give the bottle a gentle shake before pouring. All of our other milk products are homogenized for consistency.
-
Our milk is pasteurized in full accordance with the State of Tennessee Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO). We use gentle, low-temperature pasteurization to kill harmful bacteria while preserving flavor and goodness.
Our Promise
Quality is at the heart of everything we do. As a sixth-generation family farm with nearly 200 years of history, we are committed to producing a product we are proud to serve at our own table.
We are blessed to have veterinarians and livestock nutritionists in our family who carefully formulate daily feed rations to balance nutrients not naturally available from pasture. The health and happiness of our cows is our highest priority — because they are truly part of our family.
